Terms of Service
Effective date: 1 August 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TASXIO (the “Service”, “TASXIO”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
TASXIO is a software-as-a-service platform that helps trade and service businesses capture leads, produce quotes, manage jobs, issue invoices, and view business analytics. Features and pricing are described on our website and may change from time to time.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use the Service.
3. Subscriptions and payment
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe.
- Prices are shown on the pricing page in your selected currency and are exclusive of VAT unless stated.
- Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled by you.
- You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. See our Refund Policy for details of refunds on cancellation.
- If payment fails, we may suspend access until the balance is paid.
4. Free trial
We may offer a free trial period. At the end of the trial, your account will convert to a paid plan unless you cancel first. We will notify you before the trial ends.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful purposes or to send spam, malicious code, or unsolicited marketing;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or interfere with its operation;
- resell, sublicense, or make the Service available to third parties outside your organisation;
- reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract source code from the Service.
6. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the customer, quote, invoice, and other data you enter into the Service (“Customer Data”). You grant TASXIO a limited licence to host and process Customer Data solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the Customer Data you upload, including obtaining any consents from your own customers.
7. Third-party integrations
The Service integrates with third parties (including Stripe, Google, Microsoft, Xero, QuickBooks and Sage) to provide functionality. Your use of these integrations is subject to the third party’s own terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of third-party services.
8. Availability and support
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance and, where reasonable, will provide notice. Support is provided by email at contact@tasxio.com during UK business hours.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that harms other users, our infrastructure, or our reputation. On cancellation, your data remains available in read-only form for 60 days, after which it is deleted.
10. Warranties and liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data.
11. Consumer rights
If you are a consumer in the UK, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
